Decoding the Tree of Life

The Tree of Life refers to the interrelatedness of all life on Earth and represents the genetic connections between all living things and their shared evolutionary history. Microbes, animals, and plants share many genetic elements. At the exhibition you will explore how by studying and comparing the genomes of many organisms, we can learn much about their biology and evolution, Earth’s biodiversity, and how and where humans fit into nature’s Tree of Life.
