Connections

Understanding genomics – including the science, terminology, technology, treatments, choices, and available resources – can be overwhelming, especially when people are seeking information for themselves, a loved one, or their community.

“Communities” provides a learning space beyond the exhibition, "Genome: Unlocking’s Life Code," where people of all ages can find tools to increase their understandings of genomic information, explore the personal meanings of genomic information, connect with people and communities in similar situations, and access resources concerning the effects of genomic information on health care, knowledge of their ancestry, and potential research benefits.
